The 8t Edition of the Everest Trail Race by the Elements will start on Thursday in Jiri (Himalaya Nepalese). Along 6 stages the athletes will run 160km and physically and mentally overcome 29.000m of slope. Each participant has to carry on in the personal backpack all the technical material needed during the 6-day's stages.

Lukla. The runner Luis Alberto Hernando after leading the race all the days, has fight until the end, in a trepidant duel with Suman Kulung. The Nepal runner has won the last stage and the general ranking. His compatriot ChheChee Sherpa has won the women's category.

Phakding. Second consecutive victory for Nepalese runner Suman Kulung who is dangerously close to Luis Alberto Hernando's leadership. The Burgos rider has 4 minutes and 26 seconds of margin to two days before the end of the competition.

Jase Bhajyang (10-11-17). The World and European champions won their second consecutive victory with a record time in the premier stage of the race. The Portuguese rider Ester Alves also won and maintains first place.
